The food bar, that is! The latest trend in weddings is to pick-your-own-topping food bar. This is a great way to please all of your guests since they can pick what they want to eat- a more modern take on the buffet. Here are 10 wedding food bars that can really make your wedding delicious!


1) The Bruschetta Bar

+ This is a great idea for wedding appetizers! All you need is different types of bruschetta such as traditional balsamic bruschetta, chimichurri tomato bruschetta or even a pico de gallo would be a great addition to the bar. Add slices of french bread, flat bread or your favorite   crackers for the base! 



2) Sushi Bar

+ Sushi it a great appetizer piece. You can have various types of sushi rolls so that your guests can try new rolls they may have never had before. Sushi is the perfect bite size treat!



3) Mashed Potato Bar

+ Everyone loves potatoes, so why not a mashed potato bar?! Take homemade mashed potatoes and have any topping imaginable available. This includes various cheeses, bacon, gravy, sour cream, sauteed mushroom and onions, chives, broccoli, avocado, tomato, and anything really you can think of! This can be a great addition to a piece of steak, chicken or fish for your guests!



4) Spud Bar

+ Just like the mashed potato bar, but every type of potato. You can even do both of them because each topping would work! You can have tater tots, fries, chips, baked potatoes, and potato skins. Also, a great addition to steak, chicken or fish!



5) Grilled Cheese Bar

+ This is a way to take a simple sandwich to the best sandwich you ever had. Pick your favorite cheeses, add meat, add veggies and have a chef grill it up! Simple and delicious! Great for kids too!



6) Taco Bar

+ Tacos are another food that you can really make personalized. You can have different tortillas, different meat fillings, and all the toppings you can think of! People will be given a chance to make their dream taco, who doesn't love that? A great guest DIY!



7) Raw Bar

+ For the seafood lovers this is a great idea! Have all your favorite seafoods such as shrimp, crab, lobster, oysters, mussels, and clams! Then add in you butter sauces, chimichurri, mango salsas, and other great dips for seafood and you have yourself the best buffet bar ever!!!



8) Pasta Bar

+ Ok, you really can't go wrong with pasta! Have your guest pick their favorite pasta whether it be spaghetti, penne, bow ties, fettuchini which can be premade. Then pick they their favorite sauce whether it be alfredo, marinara, vodka, etc. and have them pick their favorite veggies. Then have a chef whip that all together to put on thier pasta! Your ultimate pasta dish! YUM!



9) S'mores Bar

+ I had to add in a dessert bar idea! A s'mores bar can really take you back to childhood and you can make it the way you always dreamed. From having white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate and different flavored gram crackers and marshmellows. people will be smiling with the delight of fullfilling thier sweat tooth. It would be great for a cold night where people can take turn sitting around the fire! A great way to bring guests together!



10) Whiskey Bar

+ What's a wedding without a real bar! This is a unique idea to have various brands of your favorite whiskey displayed so your guests can have their own little tasting room at your event! It's an opportunity for you and your guests to try different brands they've never been had before. If you're not big into whiskey, substitute rums, gins, vodkas, or any other type of booze you love!
