THE ART OF THE BRIDAL SHOWER
We all know the bachelorette party is the traditional last fling with the girls before the wedding. The bridal shower is the boring brunch time festivity with all the girls of the family and friends! Not anymore! There are so many great ideas out there to make a bridal shower fun and lively to make sure everyone has a good time! Here are some great tips for those of you that have the honor of throwing the bridal shower!
++ THE VENUE: First things first, figure out where your are throwing the shower. This will help to organize the date, time and decorations that work best for the helpers and of course the bride!
** Advice: A country club, an aunts house, mom's house, or a pool area are great options for the venue.
++ The THEME: There are some many great themes to have for a shower, make it fun and related to the bride!
** Advice: Make it nautical, if she loves boating! Make it mad hatter themed if she loves funky, creative things! Make it vintage, if she loves classic things! Just be creative with it!
++ DECORATIONS: Go all out with Decor! Have signs that say "soon to be Mrs."! Have flower centerpieces! a dessert and food table decorated! ETSY seriously has so many options for whatever theme for decent prices as well!
** ADVICE: Check out Pinterest for ideas!!!!
++ DELEGATE TASKS: The bridesmaids are that for a reason! Have them pitch in with food, decorations and day of decorating!
** Advice: Don't be afraid to ask for help, they will be happy to do anything for the bride to be! Equal spending for the shower will be less stressful on everyone!
++ GUEST LIST: Once you have those three things accomplished you can organize a guest list!
- DON’T invite guests who haven’t been invited to the wedding, if it’s a large wedding
- DO invite guests who haven’t been invited to the wedding if it’s a very small or destination wedding
- DO make sure you greet guests and introduce yourself at the beginning of the shower
++ INVITATION: Put someone in charge of getting invitations prepared and you can prepare the guest addresses. Mail invites a month ahead of the shower to provide enough time for people to RSVP!

++ ACTIVITES: Games are expected usually at a bridal shower! Play 2 -3 games to spark people's interest! There is also the gift opening that takes place for about a half hour usually the last of the activities.
++ Advice: The panty guessing game is always fun as well as fun trivia games about weddings!
++ PICTURES: Of course, you need pictures to remember the lovely bridal shower! Grab some props and have with it!
** Advice: Find some cute props like mustaches, fun hats and glasses for photos! Also, you can use flowers that you use for centerpieces!
